Programs & Event Services
Bluebird offers psychologically informed wellness and community-based programming designed to support confidence, emotional resilience, nervous system awareness, and healthy connection in youth and athlete spaces.
Programs are rooted in action sport culture, emotionally informed facilitation, and creating supportive environments where participants can safely challenge themselves, work through fear, build confidence, and experience connection through shared experiences and movement.
Founded by Chantel McDougall, a Mental Health and Addictions Nurse with over 15 years of experience in mental health, addiction medicine, crisis intervention, and youth-centered care, Bluebird combines mental health literacy, youth development, and action sport culture into accessible, community-based programming.
Bluebird programs are not technical skateboard coaching sessions or clinical therapy services. The focus is confidence development, emotional regulation, resilience, athlete wellness, and psychologically informed experiences through movement and community.

Bluebird Athlete Wellness + Community Activations help athletes explore the emotional side of sport in a grounded, relatable way. The focus is not elite mental performance consulting or therapy, but creating supportive spaces where athletes can better understand pressure, fear, confidence, mistakes, recovery, and the role of community in performance environments.
Using skateboarding culture and action sport perspectives as a lens, sessions explore how courage, failure, retrying, individuality, and resilience show up across all sports.

Just movement, courage, community, and the reminder that you are still allowed to take up space.
